With Apple Stores Rolling Out iPhone-to-iPhone Contactless Payments, customers can use their iPhones for secure payments with Apple Pay.

Apple announced in February that compatible iPhones would be able to accept iPhone-to-iPhone Contactless Payments through digital wallets. Like Apple Pay, contactless credit and debit cards, and other digital wallets without the need for additional hardware. Furthermore, Apple started testing the function at its Apple Park Visitor Center earlier this month. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has tweeted that it will begin rolling out to Apple Stores throughout the US today. That is allowing customers to try it out. Additionally, the iPhone-to-iPhone Contactless Payments feature may not be available at every Apple Store quickly. Also, Apple has stated that the iPhone-to-iPhone Contactless Payments feature will be available in the United States later this year. But has not provided a specific launch date. Though, using an iPhone XS or newer, small businesses and merchants will be able to approve iPhone-to-iPhone Contactless Payments through compatible iOS apps. Then, the customer will straightly be ask to hold their own iPhone or Apple Watch, debit cards or contactless credit, or other digital wallets near the merchant's iPhone at checkout. The payment is done securely via NFC technology. Now, Merchants who approve iPhone-to-iPhone Contactless Payments on an iPhone should use additional hardware. Such as the Square Reader, which comes in various variants that work wirelessly or attach to the Lightning connection or headphone jack on the iPhone. >
