Whats New Dawg
Facebook is awash in videos on several niches and subjects. If you are a user, then you'll find instructional ones, 5-minute craft, some addictive and pointless hacks, and footage of aliens. Therefore, you will probably find everything on that social media platform. But do you know that you can download videos from Facebook? The content we watch on Facebook is entertaining, and sometimes we wish to save it. For that, you may copy the link and send it to a friend via the app if you want to share that video. Furthermore, you can save the video, but doing so adds it to your saved video bookmarks so you can find it quickly and watch it on Facebook. However, it is not available on your phone or computer's hard drive to watch later offline. Therefore, you can follow this guide to learn how to download videos from Facebook without any hassle and external apps.        Before we begin, it's crucial to emphasize that you should think twice before downloading any movie. You shouldn't download copyrighted material, and if you wish to download a friend's privately published movie on Facebook, ask for consent if it is okay.

Steps To Download Videos From Facebook

Steps To Download

1. Select A Movie

First, look for the video that you want to download. However, be mindful of the guideline and copyright content. Furthermore, try to download a short-duration video first.

2. Take The Link

Next, copy the video's link in order to download it. For this, tap on the three dots in the top right corner of the video. From the drop-down menu, select the "Copy Link" option.

3. Add The Hyperlink To A New Tab

Subsequently, after copying the link, paste it into a new tab. Here, you have to open the link you copied in a new tab.

4. Change The URL To Read "mbasic" Instead of "www."

In the next step, you'll have to change your URL in order to access a very outdated version of Facebook. Therefore, change "www" to "mbasic" in your browser after removing the "www" and replacing it with "mbasic" in the link. Your website will become a very outdated version of Facebook as a result.

5. Launch A New Tab To View The Video

The screen will now be blank, with just one video playing on it.

6. Right-click The Video And Save It

When the video is playing, right-click on it, and a drop-down menu will open. There select the "Save As" option to finish the process. That's all there is to it for you to download videos from Facebook. Furthermore, there is another simple method that you can try to download a video. The process is similar to how you would download a video from Twitter. Therefore, copying the share link and pasting it into a third-party website that will handle everything for you. Thus, a website like FB Down will come in handy. Once you have copied the tweet link visit the site. There submit your copied link and select Download. You can also download a third-party program, such as Friendly for Facebook, which adds more functionality to the Facebook app, including the ability to download. However, if all other options are exhausted, you can always record your screen, view the recorded video, and save it to your phone or computer using that method. Although screen recording is relatively easy, you might not get the same quality as you would by storing the Facebook video separately.
