"TAKE A BREAK" – INSTAGRAM'S NEW FEATURE

Instagram's new "Take A Break" feature allows you to set a timer for a reminder to leave the app, as well as recommend alternate activities to do while you're away. This is great program to encourage users to be more conscious of their Instagram interaction, or at the absolute least, serve as a gentle reminder to unplug from time to time rather than getting sucked into content rabbit holes and mindless scrolling for hours on end. Over the last few years, there's been a conversation about "social media addiction." It's easy to lose track of time reading through endless photo feeds on applications like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Therefore, Instagram's new edition of "Take a Break" and "Daily Limit" to deal with social media dependency is an excellent prospect. Both features urge users to exit the program after a certain amount of time has passed, thus breaking the scrolling cycle.
