E.g., ceiling fans consume a high use of 10-20 and 4-5 units hours per day. Similarly, refrigerators and water heaters consume up to 3-4 units per day in any household. Hence, checking and looking for efficient appliances through the BEE Star Labels ratings is necessary.

The BEE Star Labels ratings are an essential indicator of the efficiency of the specific appliance. Therefore, before buying any appliance, do keep these few things in mind.

• Not every category of the appliance gets the BEE star rating
• Calculate ROI
• The standards of subcategories of the products differ
• Take a look at the technology

Henceforth, with all that, the BEE Star Labels and ratings, note that a 5-star BEE rating does not always mean it is a great product. However, it only means that certain appliances are efficient and save more energy. Also, consumers prefer to buy high-tech appliances which might not be in the category of BEE Star Labels ratings but holds a significant place in the market because of their technology. Therefore, sometimes BEE ratings are not the hallmark for the quality of the appliances.
