What are the steps to follow in cleaning your Xbox Series X?

Before cleaning your consoles, you have to make sure to have an idea of the necessary prerequisites. Some of the essential tools and requirements are as follows:

  • A low-powered vacuum, compressed air, microfiber cloths, isopropyl alcohol, and an Xbox Series X
  • You'll need a T8 screwdriver bit if you're removing the casing.

Therefore, let's start with the initial steps to clean your console will be: 

  • Remove the huge sticker at the back of the console and the one at the bottom to uncover the screws beneath them. Unplug your console from the mains first.
  • Furthermore, to remove the screws, use a T8 screwdriver bit. Therefore, unclip the console case after you're finished.
  • Also, using a low-powered vacuum, carefully suction any dust accumulation. A clean brush, compressed air, or microfiber cloth will suffice if you don't have one.
  • Reassemble the console case.

  • The first step is to turn your console completely off, then unplug it from the power source.
  • Then, position your console on a clean and safe platform. Furthermore, It should not be placed on a carpet or rug with long fibers because dust will attract it.
  • In addition, consider removing the large sticker above the ports on the back of the console and the smaller sticker on the bottom; underneath them are the screws. Moreover, one is located above your connection ports, while the warranty sticker is beneath them.
